My roots are in Iowa, but St. Louis is where I call home. My yoga journey began in the mid 2000’s as I was looking for something to help relieve stress from the overwhelming demands of this fast-paced world. I also wanted something different to spice up my regular workout routine. What I discovered was much more than I could have ever imagined. Not only did I find tension relief from my entire body, but also, I found a magnitude of peace and healing from within! My hunger for yoga continued to grow through the years and I opened my mind and took many classes consisting of different styles with a variety of teachers, which led me to receiving my YTT 200 hour certification. My favorite styles of yoga are Vinyasa, Hatha, and Restorative. My focus is to invite mindfulness and relaxation into your practice, connecting the breath with movement, while strengthening and protecting the body from tightness and pain.
